BBuddySend

About BuddySend

A simple, secure way to share files with a 6-digit code.

What it does

BuddySend lets you upload files and share them with anyone using a short 6-digit code. No account is required to send. Files are stored briefly on our CDN and automatically removed after a short window or once they've been downloaded.

How it works

  1. Drop your files on the upload page.
  2. We give you a 6-digit code and a shareable link.
  3. The other side enters the code on the receive page and downloads.
  4. Files expire automatically — no cleanup on your end.

Privacy

  • Transfers go over HTTPS, so files are encrypted in transit.
  • We don't scan or open the contents of files.
  • Files are deleted automatically after download or expiry.
  • No account is needed, so we never ask for your name or email.
  • To prevent abuse we record basic transfer details: file names, sizes, and the IP address and approximate location of the sender and recipient. The privacy policy has the full list.
